• Be flexible. Each journal will have its own unique look. Find the search box and make sure you're searching just the one journal.
• Keep it simple. You're already searching a journal focused on the nonprofit sector—no need to include the word nonprofit among your search terms. For example, if you're researching conflicts of interest within the nonprofit world, you could try entering the phrase "conflicts of interest".
