Summer 2022 College of Business/Library Update

New family-friendly study room

On Thursday, May 12, 2022, the library opened its new family-friendly study room located on the second floor of the library. The room includes two desks, chairs, and couch for guardians to relax or study. Also included are games, books, and toys for children up to eleven years old. Occupancy is limited to six people at a time on a first-come, first-served basis.

Spring 2022 library instruction review

In spring 2022, there were eleven library instruction sessions held for sections from four different College of Business classes. The Business Librarian met with the following classes: 

• BUS 304: Business Communication, Pro-seminar, and Critical Thinking, four sections taught in-person, two sections taught online
• BUS 306: Fundamentals of Marketing, one section taught in-person
• BUS 499: Strategic Management, three sections taught online
• HOSP 499: Strategic Management for Sustainable Hospitality, one section taught in-person
