CSUMB Makerspace

The Library Makerspace is a collaborative work environment on the third floor of the Tanimura & Antle Library, Room 3125.

Welcome to the Makerspace

The CSUMB Library Makerspace is a cross-campus hub where students, staff, and faculty can use a variety of tools and materials for free during general access hours. All skill levels are welcome!

There is a Maker Library of books related to Makerspace activities. There are computers available with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop installed which can be used for designing laser cutting files, as well as CAD software to use the available 3D printers.

Learn a new skill or use specialty equipment during scheduled workshops or emailing makerspace@csumb.edu.

Please check in and out at the front welcome desk where student staff members are available to assist you with questions, setup & clean up, materials use and how to check out tools. Tool and or safety training is required for some activities, including needle felting, X-Acto knives, and hot glue guns.
