What can I request, really?
Within reason, any digital or physical item can be requested. Whether or not the item will be loaned is another matter.
Other libraries and institutions have their own rules/regulations regarding what stays in their library. CSUMB strives to maintain flexibility in acquiring items requested, but sometimes no institution is willing to lend.

How much does Resource Sharing an item cost?
CSUMB provides Resource Sharing at no cost to you. The costs involved for each item range from $20 to $50. Please request only those items necessary for your research, pick up items promptly, and return items before the due date.
This helps keep costs down and helps maintain good karma for all.
In an effort to improve library services, all 23 CSU campuses have transitioned to one requesting system, CSU+ and Rapido.
ILLiad is no longer available to place requests. Requests are now submitted and managed through OneSearch. To track the status of requests, as well as view items on loan and manage your library account, sign into your My Library Account.
If a request has not been filled yet, contacting the Resource Sharing department is your best option. Please notify as soon as you know the item is no longer needed.
